For short-term parking there are multi-story car parks located right across from both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 in the airport. You will receive a ticket upon entering which you can pay for in ticket booths located outside the car parks on your return. Both cash and credit cards are accepted, though the tariffs can be extremely high (€4.50 per hour and €40 per day) if you intend leaving your car in the short-term car parks for more than one day.
A cheaper option for medium to long term parking at the Airport is the Express Red Car Park. This charges only €9.50 per day and there are 8,000 car parking spaces. The car park is situated within the grounds of the airport, however it is necessary to take a shuttle bus to get to both terminal buildings which can cause delays especially at busy times.
For anybody travelling from Dublin city centre the Airlink Express presents a much more cost effective solution than parking a car at the airport. We can accommodate all of your luggage, we’ll drop you directly outside the door of Terminal 1 or Terminal 2, you will not have to wait around for our buses and our cost is a fraction of the Dublin Airport parking fees. - Please note that journeys to Dublin Airport by car can involve extended delays depending on the time of the day and level of traffic. Always leave extra time when traveling to Dublin airport by rental car or by dublin taxi.
